TROUBLESHOOTING & REPAIR

CONTROL BOARD TRANSFORMER (T3) TEST

WARNING

Service and repair should be performed by only Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. Unauthorized repairs performed on this equipment may result in danger to the technician or machine operator and will invalidate your factory warranty. TEST DESCRIPTION

This test will determine if the correct voltage is being applied to the primary winding of the control board transformer (T3) and also if the correct voltage is being induced upon the sec- ondary winding.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Volt/ohmmeter (Multimeter)
