B Indicator lights
The indicator lights on the HP Photosmart A320 series printer tell you about the state of the printer. The tables in this section explain some of the most common and important patterns, as follows:
•The On light tells you about the printer's power state.
•The Resume light tells you about the current print job. It indicates that you need to press the OK button after clearing an error condition.
•The Print Cartridge light tells you about the print cartridge.
•The PictBridge light tells you about the connected PictBridge camera.
•The Attention light usually acts in combination with the other lights. It indicates that you need to correct a problem before printing can resume.
The Red Eye light is not listed here, because its only function is to tell you whether or not the automatic photo enhancing feature is turned on.
If the printer is connected to a computer, check the computer screen for information about the error condition and how to resolve it.
NOTE: If something new occurs, lights that are turned on to indicate one thing may change to indicate the new event. For example, the On light is normally a solid green whenever the printer is turned on. However, if you print a photo, the On light flashes until the printer is finished printing.
