HP 400N manual To use the upper slot of an HP LaserJet 4Si or 4Si

To install a card into the upper MIO slot of the HP LaserJet 4Si and 4Si MX printers

NOTE	To use the upper slot of an HP LaserJet 4Si or 4Si
	MX printer, you must assemble two cards together
	and insert them both into the printer at the same
	time. To assemble the cards together, the card to be
	used in the upper slot must be fitted with a custom
	cover plate. Custom cover plates must be ordered
	from Hewlett-Packard:
	•C2009-60111 (for HP J4105A or J4106A)

1.Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.

2.Remove the existing card from the lower MIO slot of the printer. (You will assemble this card to the new card later.)

3. Remove the protective cover from the upper MIO slot.
