EXTRA OPTIONS

6.Choose 1 for CHIME ON or 2 for CHIME OFF.

7.Press CLEAR again to quit the menu. To confirm your choice, press 1 for Yes or 2 for No. If you choose Yes, you will quit the menu. If you choose No, you go back to the main menu.

8. If you see a note ( ) on the display, the chime is activated.

The chime function also works for the wired inputs on zones 31 and 32.

The chime function of the wired inputs on zones 31 and 32 always works and cannot be switched off. If you want to deactivate the chime, use the wired input of the door/window sensor.

9.3 Using wired inputs

The SC9000 console has two inputs for wired sensors. These sensors need to be of type NC (normally closed contacts). There should not be any power on these inputs (potential-free).

Connecting a wired sensor:

1.Open the top compartment on your console.

2.You will see two wired inputs.

3.Remove the wire bridge and connect your wired sensor.

4.Close the top compartment of your console and enter your PIN code to remove the word TAMPER from the display.

5.The wired sensor is now ready for use.

The two screws on the left are for zone 32, the two on the right for zone 31.

9.4 Adding a wired sensor to the Door/Window Sensor DS90

The DS90 Door/Window Sensor has a contact for an extra wired sensor.

These sensors need to be of type NC (normally closed contacts).

1

There should not be any power on this contact (potential-free).

A few examples:

Securing a window with multiple magnetic contacts.

Adding extra sensors to your Marmitek system, e.g. smoke detectors, temperature sensors, sensors to detect electrical failures, etc.

1.Open the transmitter part of the DS90 by removing the screw.

2.Remove the wire bridge from the connection for the wired sensor (2).

3.Connect your sensor.

The wired contact has its own zone on the console. You can register the contact using the procedure in 4.1.3 (to register a sensor, activate the alarm with your sensor in step 5).

The setting of the MIN/MAX switch (entry delay) of the DS90 is valid for both

the magnetic contact and the wired sensor.

TOTALGUARD specifications

Marmitek TOTALGUARD is a comprehensive security solution designed to enhance the safety and security of homes and businesses. This advanced system integrates cutting-edge technologies to provide a robust protective measure against unauthorized access, theft, and other security threats.

One of the standout features of TOTALGUARD is its user-friendly interface. The system is designed for simplicity, allowing users to easily control and monitor their security settings via a dedicated mobile app. This app offers real-time notifications and allows users to receive alerts about any suspicious activities, ensuring immediate response to potential threats.

TOTALGUARD employs a range of high-tech sensors and cameras that deliver high-definition video surveillance around the clock. Its motion detection capabilities are finely tuned, allowing the system to differentiate between normal activity and potential intrusions. This minimizes false alarms, giving users peace of mind that their property is protected without the constant interruptions of unnecessary alerts.

The system is also equipped with smart home integration features, making it compatible with popular smart home devices. This connectivity means that homeowners can integrate their security system with other elements of their smart home – such as lighting and climate control – to create a comprehensive safety net. When an alert is triggered, smart lights can turn on to deter intruders, and connected devices can alert users to any unusual activity in their vicinity.

One of the key characteristics of the TOTALGUARD system is its scalability. Whether you live in a small apartment or manage a large commercial facility, the system can be expanded by adding more sensors, cameras, and modules as needed. This adaptability makes it an ideal choice for a variety of users and settings.

In addition, TOTALGUARD features advanced encryption protocols that ensure the security of data transmission between devices, safeguarding sensitive information from cyber threats. This level of security is crucial in today's digital landscape where security breaches can occur remotely.

Lastly, the Marmitek TOTALGUARD system is designed to be easily installed without the need for professional assistance, making it accessible to a wide range of consumers. With its combination of advanced technology, ease of use, and flexibility, TOTALGUARD represents a formidable solution for anyone looking to enhance their security measures in an increasingly uncertain world.
