Sheetrock, wood or other combustibles must NOT be used as sheathing or facing in the non-combustible zone.

C.Finishing Material Options

Finishing Material Thickness from 3/4 in. to 1-1/4 in.

Finishing material within this thickness range can be brought to 1/2 inch behind the door top and sides. These non-com- bustible finishing materials must never overlap or obstruct the air outlet/inlet grille areas.

Non-combustible facing material is supplied with this appliance. This material extends from the header to one inch above the appliance bottom and from framing stud to framing stud.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE

Please note that there are four holes or dots on the template to assist in positioning the template. These holes or dots should line up with the door mounting holes on the unit to ensure proper placement of the door after finishing materials are installed.

Finishing Material Thickness greater than 1-1/4 inch

A steel template (Cerona-36 Template or Cerona-42 Tem- plate) is available for purchase to use instead of construct- ing a template.
