Sew in a Zipper Fabric Preparation:

Put the right sides of the fabric together and sew to the end of the zipper opening. Use the reverse to lock the stitches.

Sew the zipper opening wRh stitch length at -4 "" and top thread tension at

To Sew :

1.Fold back the left seam allowance as shown.

2.Turn under the right seam allowance to form a 118"" told.

3.Place the zipper teeth next to the 1t8'" told and pin in place.

4.To sew the left side of the zipper, set the zipper foot on the left side el the needle.

5.Lower the zipper toot on the nght side at the bottom of the zipper so that the

needle pierces the told and the zipper tape.

6_ Sew through the told and the z_pper tape to the point where the slider begins.

7.Lower the needle to hold the tabric and raise the presser toot.

1. Rabattez ta ressource de couture gauche, comme montr_.

2.Repliez dessous la ressource droite, formez un pli de 118",

3.Placez Ies mailles de fa fermeture contre le pll de 1/8" et bfttssez.

4.Pour coudre le cot@. gauche de la fermemre a glissiOre, r@tez le pted de

fermemres a glissi_re iz ta gauche de l'aiguille.

5.Abaissez le pied sur l'endroit au bout

de ta fermeture, pour que ratgtdIle pique dans le pliet darts la ganse.

6.Piquez darts ie pli et.la ganse, jusqd a proxtmit_ du curseur de la fermemre.

7 Laissez l'aigttilte piqu_e clans le tissu et remontez Ie pred.
