!All protective parts must be attached so that they cannot be removed without the aid of a tool.

Electrical connection

!Coffee machines with three-pole power cable are regulated for alternating current, with voltage and frequency shown on the rating plate attached to the appliance.

!The installer is responsible for checking the correct connection of components and observing safety regulations.

Before connecting make sure that:

the socket is earthed and is compliant with statutory regulations:

the socket is able to withstand the maximum power load of the machine, shown on the rating plate;

the supply voltage is within the values shown on the rating plate;

the socket is compatible with the appliance’s plug. Otherwise replace the plug or the socket; do not use extension leads or adaptors.

!Once the appliance is installed, the electric cable and socket must be easy to reach.

!The power cable must not be subject to coiling or compression.

!The cable must be checked regularly and replaced only by authorised technicians.

!The company accepts no responsibility for non- compliance with these regulations.

Installing the power cable

• Put the plug in the tray socket on the rear of the machine

• Connect the power cable to the mains

• Put the plug in the power socket.

The position of the power cable must be

such that no section of it is above room temperature by more than 50°C/122°F.

!Before connecting the supply pipe to the water mains, let the water flow until it is clear.

!The distance between the sources for the electric and the water connections have to comply with the regulations in force at the moment of installation.

1. Remove the protective cap from the water outlet.

2. Connect the supply pipe to the machine by inserting it in the appropriate water outlet, in the rear side up on the right (see figure).

3. Fasten the supply pipe to a cold water tap with a threaded 3/4 gas- type connection (see figure).

4.Make sure that there are neither bends nor constrictions in the pipe.

!The water pressure of the tap has to be within the values shown in the Technical Specification table.

!If the length of the supply pipe is not enough, please refer to a specialised point of sale or an authorized technician.

!Never employ used or old inlet pipes, but only those provided with the machine.
