APPLICATION GUIDELINES / CONDITIONS OF USE

WATER SUPPLY:

Maximum 100° F. (38° C.) For cold water use only

WATER

PRESSURE:

125 psi maximum Recommended Minimum: 30 psi, as measured at the valve inlet

Timely cartridge replacement is essential for the product to perform as advertised. Please refer to the Use and Care Manual for general operation and maintenance requirements. Your refrigerator will have one of two types of filter replacement reminders. One is a simple slide knob on the rear control box that you set to six months after installing a new filter. The other is an electronic light on the freezer door dispenser that lights up yellow when the filter is almost ready for replacement and lights up red when the filter must be replaced. The indicator is pressed for approximately 10 seconds to reset after replacing the filter.

Ice & Water Filter System RF-200 should not be used on water that is microbiologically unsafe or with water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. System may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts.

Performance may vary based on local water conditions and/or pressure. High sediment areas may require more frequent filter replacement.

Ice & Water Filter System will absorb bad tastes and odors in both ice cubes and drinking water.
