The MTD1840AVCC model is equipped with an 18-inch cutting deck, making it ideal for small to medium-sized lawns. It features a reliable 40V lithium-ion battery, which not only provides impressive runtime but also operates quietly, reducing noise pollution during use. The mower offers three cutting options: mulching, side discharge, and rear bagging, allowing users to choose the best method for their yard care. The adjustable cutting height accommodates different grass lengths, making it versatile for various gardening needs.

In contrast, the MTD1640NAVCC model comes with a slightly smaller 16-inch cutting deck, making it an excellent choice for tighter spaces and small yards. Additionally, the foldable handle feature allows for compact storage, making them ideal for garages and sheds with limited space.

Safety features have not been overlooked, with both mowers equipped with a blade brake mechanism that stops the blade quickly when the user releases the handle. This ensures added safety, especially in households with children or pets.
