Copying the IP Messaging Backup Files to the Secondary Server
To copy backup files to the secondary VCX Connect server:
1Log in to the app account on the primary VCX Connect server.
2Enter these commands:
cd /opt/3comdata/umsdata/
scp -r <DATE> app@<IP address>:/opt/3comdata/umsdata/
Where:
■<DATE> represents the name of the directory that was created by the
backupums command.
■<IP address> represents the IP address of the secondary VCX Connect
server.
Restarting the Servers
1Reboot the primary server.
2After the primary server reboot process has been completed, reboot the
secondary server and wait for approximately 5 minutes for the boot
process to be completed.
