Controller

Description

Controls the state of the BIOS at POST time. When Enabled, the HostRAID controller BIOS allows the controller to act as a bootable device. Disabling the BIOS allows another suitable HostRAID controller to act as the boot device.

When BBS support is set to Device base, the system’s BIOS will list each attached bootable device to the HostRAID controller as an individual entry. When BBS support is set to Controller base, the system’s BIOS will only list the HostRAID controller in the system boot order. This is useful in a multi-HostRAIDcontroller configuration.
