STS-1 STATISTICS

This menu provides submenus for alarm history and performance parameters (see Figure 5-2).

24 Hour Alarm History

The MX2800 STS-1 keeps track of alarms for both the near and far ends of the network. You can view alarm history information in one of the three time period selections, or view a cumulative alarm count. Information in these fields is for the given time period since the last reset. The cumulative alarm count continues indefinitely until CLEAR ALL STS-1 ALARM COUNTS is selected. See Figure 5-3 and Figure 5-4 on page 5-5 for examples of alarm screens.
