3.1 Configuration Settings

Before starting DNS-3200 for the first time, it is necessary to have the system undergo Initialization Setup, which includes setting the title, area, language of the computer, manager’s password, network configuration as well as activation of the system. After this, the user may proceed to use DNS-3200. This section contains information on Initial Setup.

Note: Before turning the computer on for the first time, be sure the hardware has been properly installed and the network wires and power cord are con- nected properly.

3.1.1 Turning the system on for the first time

1.When turning the system on for the first time, it will enter into the Initialization Setup screen (as shown below) and by pressing Next, Initialization Setup starts.
