7.1.3 Operating System Repair

After turning on the system with the backup operating system, the dam- aged operating system (Array 3) must be repaired, so it can be the backup operating system.

1.Open the RAID Console and right-click on the Primary OS (Array 3). Then click Delete and select OK to delete the damaged Primary OS array.

2.Change the current Backup OS array name to “Primary OS” for easy identification.

3.Use the RAID transform function on “Primary OS” (now Array1) to migrate the two-disk RAID 1 to a four-disk RAID 1N.
