Step 1: Remove the cover

WARN I N G Never remove the computer cover without first removing the power cord from the

power outlet and any connection to a telecommunications network.

2Unplug the AC power cord from the

rear of the portable.

4If you are connected to a telecommunications

network, disconnect the network cable.

1Power off your portable.

3If you are connected to a system under test,

disconnect the line interface cable(s).
