MAINTENANCE
SPINDLE LUBRICATION
To check the grease level in the spindle, place the mower head on a flat level surface. Remove the filler plug, the oil should be level with the bottom of the oil level check plug and should not require additional lubricant unless the spindle is cracked or a seal is leaking. If required, oil should be added until it runs out hole. Recommended lubricant is NLGI 000 Grease, Alamo Industrial P/N 00769030, Mobil 000 EP023, or equivalent.
Note: Make sure that the mower is level when checking oil level in the spindle.
Note: Do Not overfill the spindle. Overfilling will cause pressure to build up and cause seals to leak.
SPINDLE FILLER/CHECK PLUG
HYDRAULIC LINES, COUPLERS, & ADAPTERS
Keep all hoses and adapters tight. Repair any leaks immediately. Do not overtighten hose end fittings. Tighten to specifications only. (See Chart Below)
