Network Mode

You can select your preferred network with this menu.

2G/3G options

Touch to enter 2G/3G options, where you can view Access point names, you can select to use only 2G networks or select a network operator.

Cell broadcast/Cell broadcast settings

Enable receipt of CB messages by marking the check box of Cell broadcast.

You can access a series of adjustable CB settings by touching Cell broadcast settings.

11.2Call settings

Use Call settings to configure normal phone call settings and other special features offered by your carrier.You can also use Call settings to configure the cellphone so that it can place outgoing calls only to a fixed set of phone numbers.

11.2.1Fixed Dialing Numbers

Fixed Dialing Number (FDN) is a service mode of SIM, where outgoing calls are restricted to a set of phone numbers.These numbers are added to the FDN list.The most common practical application of FDN is for parents to restrict the phone numbers to which their children can dial.

For security reasons, you’ll be prompted to enable FDN by entering SIM PIN2 which is usually acquired from your service provider or SIM maker.

11.2.2Service Dialing Numbers

Service Dialing Numbers (SDN) is a service mode of SIM, where you can place the call from the SDN list. These built-in numbers are added to the SDN list by operator.

11.2.3Voicemail

Voicemail service

Opens a dialog where you can select your carrier’s voicemail service or another service.

Voicemail settings

If you are using your carrier’s voicemail service, this opens a dialog where you can enter the phone number to use for listening to and managing your voicemail.You can enter a comma (,) to insert a pause into the number— for example, to add a password after the phone number.

11.2.4Other call settings

TTY mode

TTY mode can be used by people who are deaf, have bad hearing or speech impairments.

After connecting the cellphone and TTY machine it connects to a relay service, which converts incoming speech to text for the person using the TTY and converts outgoing text from the TTY machine to a spoken voice for the person on the other end of the conversation.

DTMF Tones

Set the length of DTMF tones.
