CAUTION: DO NOT return the fryer to normal operation with its

If the burners do not light, the gas control valve has failed and must be replaced.
2.Measure the gas supply pres- sure.
Contact your local gas supplier to obtain adequate gas supply pressure.
3.Refer to the preceding Pilot Burner problems and use the correct remedy.
4.Increase the thermostat setting until the burners light. If this setting is greater than the de- sired temperature, reset the thermostat to the desired set- ting and allow the shortening to cool to the desired tempera- ture.
5.Replace the gas control valve.
