Colors are too green, red, or blue, and the screen is unreadable
No color
1Ensure that the video card or computer video port is good by connecting a monitor that is known to be good.
2Ensure that the video cable is properly connected and the thumbscrews are secure. If a video card is used, the video cable must be properly attached to it.
3Adjust cutoff and white balance. See “Cutoff and White Balance” in Adjustments.
4Doublecheck items 1 and 2.
5Replace the video and main deflection boards. See “Main Deflection, CRT/Video Boards and Rear Fence” in Take Apart. Adjust cutoff and white balance. See “Cutoff and White Balance” in Adjustments.
Ensure that the setting for the number of colors in the Monitor Control panel is correct and not set to black & white. See the monitor user manual.
