TRANSPORT

ALWAYS move PTO and power switches to OFF position and remove key when transporting unit on a truck or trailer.

Use extra care when loading or unloading unit onto trailer or truck.

Secure unit chassis to transport vehicle. NEVER secure from rods or linkages that could be damaged.

MAINTENANCE

Ariens Dealers will provide any service or adjustments which may be required to keep your unit operating at peak efficiency.

WARNING: AVOID INJURY. Read and understand the entire Safety section before proceeding.

SERVICE POSITION

WARNING: Before tipping unit up onto housing, both batteries must be removed from the unit. Ensure unit is secure and will not tip over during maintenance.

Remove hair pin from chute crank and remove chute crank arm. Remove both batteries and place unit on a flat level surface

(see Removing and Installing Batteries on

page 22). Tip unit forward onto front of auger housing for service. Ensure unit is secure and will not tip over. Strap and clamp onto bench if needed.

Service Position

Batteries MUST be removed before tipping unit.

*Batteries MUST be connected to battery

charger after every use, regardless of length of time unit was operated. After batteries are charged the battery charger must remain connected until the next use. Failure to keep batteries fully charged will reduce battery life and void battery warranty.
