Troubleshooting

If the ADSL Router is not functioning properly, you can refer first to this chapter for simple troubleshooting before contacting your service provider. This could save you time and effort but if the symptoms persist, then consult your service provider.

Problems Starting Up the ADSL Firewall Router

Problem		Corrective Action

		be on for a port that has a station connected. If it is off, check
on the LAN.

		Verify that the IP address and the subnet mask are consistent
		between the ADSL Firewall Router and the workstations.
