34Optional Equipment

8Make the gas line connection, bleed the gas line (if applicable), start the heater and thoroughly leak- test all gas connections and the gas control valve. Check the pilot. Adjust if necessary.

WARNING: When lighting or re-lighting the pilot, the door must be opened (see page 19).

To adjust the pilot flame, turn this screw (NOTE: if totally

Follow the directions below. Remove the log set prior to installation.

side fireback in place and secure with a clip and

 

screw as shown. Repeat for the opposite side.

Remove the two screws on the back wall of the firebox. Use the two screws to secure the rear fireback clip. Place the rear fireback on top of the clip (the side firebacks keep the rear fireback from falling forward).
