Configuring Local Menu options

Using the Simple Icons:

To change the type of icons, press the Services key twice to open the

Local Tools menu. Press the 1 key on the dialpad to select

1. Display Settings.

1. Select the Use Simple Icons setting using the navigation keys or

USB mouse.

2. Use the Enter key or USB mouse to toggle the check box:

— Enable check box to enable display of traditional icons on

Telephony screen.

— Clear check box to enable display of new icons on the telephony

screen.

3. Choose one of the following options:

— Select the Apply soft key to save the changes.

— Select the Cancel soft key to dismiss the changes.

Table 10 compares the new Avaya 1165E IP Deskphone icons to the

simple icons. Simple icons are listed under IP Deskphones 1120E/1140E/

1150E graphical grayscale displays column.
