Sending a file from the phone to the USB drive
Use the following procedure to send a file from the phone to the USB
drive.
Send Appears only when a file is selected.
1. When a file on the USB drive is
selected, you can press Send to copy
this file to the Avaya 1165E IP
Deskphone. The destination folder is
automatically selected based on the
type of file. For example, JPG files are
sent to the Images folder on the Avaya
1165E IP Deskphone.
2. When a file on the Avaya 1165E IP
Deskphone is selected and no USB
drive is attached, an error displays on
the screen.
Note: Copying files from one location
on the phone to another location on the
Avaya 1165E IP Deskphone is not
supported.
3. When a file on the Avaya 1165E IP
Deskphone is selected while a USB
drive is connected, you can navigate to
the USB folder where you want to copy
the file.
Back
Cancel
Navigates to the previous directory level.
Cancels the operation and returns to the
prior dialog.
