Front Panel Display
The transmitter displays an Initializing message during power-up, followed by the Avocent logo.
Press any button while the Avocent logo is displayed to enter the menu display system.

Display modes

The front panel menu system has three major display modes:
• Manual Menu Navigation
• Automatic (Timed) Menu Display
• Parameter Modification
In all display modes, the Up and Down buttons automatically repeat every 750 milliseconds if
pressed continuously.
Manual Menu Navigation
While you are in Manual Menu Navigation mode, the button definitions are as follows:

Button Description
Up Scrolls up through a set of menu items within a menu.
NOTE: While in this mode, the S symbol is displayed in the upper left character
position of the display to indicate that the Up button will scroll up to the next item in
the menu. (If the menu being displayed only contains a single item, scrolling is not
possible. This is indicated by the absence of the S symbol.)
