THE MAKEUP OF THE Badger-Radix
The Badger-Radix Handheld is made up of a number of functions that all work together to perform meter reading quickly and easily.
•The Badger-Radix has an internal computer utilizing a Hitachi® Super SH3 processor running at 120 MHz using the Microsoft® Windows® CE 3.0 operating system. The processor is Industrial grade, providing very low power consumption and a very wide range of operating temperatures.
•The Badger-Radix uses a 240 X 240 pixel white screen with black graphics
•The Badger-Radix has two RS232 serial ports:
o115.2K baud data rate
oExternal power / battery charging capability o 12 pin sealed connectors
•The Badger-Radix has an easily rechargeable lithium ion battery that will provide power for a days worth of meter reading
•The Badger-Radix has a hand strap that makes holding the unit seem almost effortless.
