Logging Out
To logoff from the unit type Logout, Logoff, or Exit at the prompt. Logging out may not close the session.
Current User Password:
To change the current user’s password, type ‘password’ at the prompt and the DS will respond:
Enter new Password:
If the current user already has a password the DS will respond:
Enter old Password:
Enter new Password:
NOTE: If you do not have the user’s current password or it’s lost, delete the user. Reinstall the user. Select option to change password and the DS will respond as in previous paragraph.
Identify Current User
As the admin user you may forget if you are logged in as the admin or regular user. Type ‘whoami’, the DS respond:
Current User: admin
To change the user logout of the unit and log back in using the new user name.
Unit Identification
Type ‘unitid’ at the prompt, the DS respond:
Unit ID:
To change the unit ID, go the Outlet Configuration menu and select ‘Change Unit ID’ option. The maximum field length is 32 or 16 for older units.
DS-RPC Configuration Menu
To select the configuration menu, type ‘config’ at the prompt.
