Manually Configuring Network settings in Windows 2000, NT, or XP
1. Click “Start”, “Set tings”, then “Control Panel”.
2. Double-click on the “Net work and dial-up connections” ic on
(Windows 2000) or the “Network” icon (Windows XP).
3. Right-click on the “Loca l Area Connectio n” associated wit h your
network adapter and se lect “Properti es” from the drop -down menu.
4. In the “Local Area Con nection Proper ties” window, click “In ternet
Protocol (TCP/IP)” and click the “Propertie s” button. The foll owing
screen will appear:
5. If “Use the following IP address” (2) is s elected, your Route r will
need to be set up for a static IP connec tion type. Write th e address
information the table b elow. You will need to ente r this information
into the Router.

6. If not already selecte d, select “Obtain an IP address au tomatically” (1)
and “Obtain DNS serve r address automa tically” (3). Click “OK ”.
