In most cases, you will not need to make a ny changes to your web
browser’s settings. If you are having trouble accessing the I nternet or
the Web-Based Advanced User Interface, then change your browser’s
settings to the recomm ended settings in this section.
Microsoft® Internet explorer 4.0 or Higher
1. Start your web browser. Select “Tools” t hen “Internet Opti ons”.
2. In the “Internet Opt ions” screen, the re are three sele ctions: “Never
dial a connection”, “Dial w henever a network connection is no t
present”, and “Always dial my d efault connectio n”. If you can make
a selection, select “ Never dial a conne ction”. If you cannot m ake a
selection, go to the nex t step.
3. Under the “Internet Opti ons” screen, clic k on “Connections” and
select “LAN Settin gs…”.
