Note: If you select Remove, the sender of the invitation does not receive confirmation that your address is a correct address.

Turn off invitation forwarding options

If you turn off invitation forwarding, contacts you invite can only accept invitations from the original email address or PIN that you sent the invitation to. If those contacts try to accept the invitation from a different email address or PIN, their acceptance is rejected.

1.In BlackBerry® Messenger, on the contact list screen, click the trackwheel.

2.Click Options.

3.Set the Allow Forwarding of Requests field to No.

4.Click the trackwheel.

5.Click Save.

Note: If you use a BlackBerry Enterprise Server for IBM® Lotus® Domino®, BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Novell® GroupWise®, or the BlackBerry Internet Service, when you send an invitation and the recipient accepts, you might not be notified.

Delete a contact

1.In BlackBerry® Messenger, on the contact list screen, highlight a contact.

2.Click the trackwheel.

3.Click Delete Contact.

View a contact's information

1.In BlackBerry® Messenger, on the contact list screen, highlight a contact.

2.Click the trackwheel.

3.Click Contact Info.

Rename a contact

1.In BlackBerry® Messenger, on the contact list screen, highlight a contact.

2.Click the trackwheel.

3.Click Rename Contact.

4.Type a name.

5.Click OK.

Add a group

1.In BlackBerry® Messenger, on the contact list screen, click the trackwheel.

2.Click Add Group.

3.Type a name for the group.
