Move a contact to a group

1.In BlackBerry® Messenger, on the contact list screen, highlight a contact.

2.Click the trackwheel.

3.Click Move Contact.

4.Click a group.

Note: A contact can only be in one group at a time. If you move a contact to a group, the contact is moved out of the group it was in originally.

Rename a group

1.In BlackBerry® Messenger, on the contact list screen, highlight a group.

2.Click the trackwheel.

3.Click Rename Group.

4.Type a name for the group.

5.Click OK.

Delete a group

You must move your contacts out of a group before you can delete that group.

1.In BlackBerry® Messenger, highlight a group.

2.Click the trackwheel.

3.Click Delete Group.

Note: There must be at least one group in your BlackBerry Messenger contact list; you cannot delete the last remaining group in your contact list.

Conversations

Start a conversation

1.In BlackBerry® Messenger, on the contact list screen, highlight a contact.

2.Click the trackwheel.

3.Click Start Conversation.

4.Type a message.

5.Press the Enter key.
