Permanent time display

You can show the time of the device on the display with switched-off device and switched on vehicle ignition.

￿Press the MENU button 9.

￿Press the softkey 5 with the display label "CLOCK".

￿Press the softkey 5 with the display label "OFFCLOCK".

"SHOW CLOCK" means that the time is dis- played, "HIDE CLOCK" means that the time is not displayed.

DSA Max –

Digital Sound Adjustment

This device features a means for digital sound calibration (DSA Digital Sound Ad- justment).

Three self-calibrating user equalizers (EQ1, EQ2 and EQ3) are available for this pur- pose. Each user equalizer consists of a graphical 27-band equalizer.

Each user equalizer features for channels (front left/right and rear left/right).

The equalizers EQ1 - EQ3 can be adjusted automatically using the supplied calibration microphone.

The values of the graphical equalizer that are determined automatically can also be changed manually.

For additional sound optimisation, you also have access to a dynamic driving noise compensation (DNC), different presettings for music styles (Preset EQ), stage effects and sound effects.

To deactivate the entire equalizer,

￿press and hold the AUDIO button : for longer than two seconds.

The display shows the DSA menu.

￿Press the softkey 5 with the display label "OFF".

"DSA OFF" appears on the display.

Note:

You can separately switch each module of the equalizer on or off in the respec- tive menu (user EQ, sound presetting, DNC, stage effect and sound effect).
