Setting the time

The time can be set automatically via the RDS signal. If no station supporting this function can be received, you can also set the time manually.

Setting the time automatically

To set the time automatically,

￿press the MENU button 9.

￿Press the softkey 5 with the display label "CLOCK".

￿Press the softkey 5 with the display label "AUTOSYNC" repeatedly until "AUTOSYNC ON" appears on the dis- play.

"AUTOSYNC ON" means that the time is au- tomatically set via the RDS signal.

Setting the clock manually

￿To set the time, press the MENU but- ton 9.

￿Press the softkey 5 with the display label "CLOCK".

￿Press the softkey 5 with the display label "TIME".

The hours and minutes are displayed in the top line of the display. The hours flash.

￿Set the hours by moving the joystick 8up or down.

To set the minutes,

￿press the joystick 8right. The minutes flash.

￿Set the minutes by moving the joystick 8up or down.

￿Press the OK joystick 8or the MENU button 9to exit the menu.

The settings are saved.

Setting the date

To set the date,

￿press the MENU button 9.

￿Press the softkey 5 with the display label "CLOCK".

￿Press the softkey 5 with the display label "DATE".

The top line of the display shows the year (YY), month (MM) and day (DD).

The input position for the year flashes.

￿Set the year (e.g. "06" for 2006) by moving the joystick 8up or down.

￿Press the joystick 8right to move the input position to the month.

￿Set the month by moving the joystick 8up or down.

￿Press the joystick 8right to move the input position to the day.

￿Set the day by moving the joystick 8 up or down.

￿Press the OK joystick 8or the MENU button 9to exit the menu.

The settings are saved.
