Speed Balancing Adjustment

If the unit veers to the right or left when the ground

speed control levers are in either the maximum

forward (both ground speed control levers contacting

the handle bars) or reverse position (both ground

speed control levers contacting the top speed

adjustment bolt), the top speed of the ground speed

control levers can be adjusted. Only adjust the speed

of the wheel that is travelling faster.

To reduce the forward speed of the faster wheel:Coarse Adjustment

1. Loosen the inner jam nut (A, Figure 29).

2.

Turn the adjustment nut (B) CLOCKWISE to

reduce the speed.
