Printing on both sides of the paper (automatic duplex printing)
Guidelines for automatic duplex printing
■Use A4, Letter or Legal size pl ain paper.
■If paper is curled, straighten it and then put it back in the paper tray.
■You should use regular paper. Do not use bond paper or thin paper if possible.
■When you use the duplex printing function, the prin ting quality becomes wors e or paper j am may
occur under some ci rcumstances. If the paper jam occurs, see Paper jams and how to clear t hem on
page 6-6.

Load paper into the paper tr ay or MP tray.

Make sure the lever on the Duplex tray i s set for the proper paper size.
