Scan to Card You can scan a black and white or colour original into
a Media Card. Black and white images will be in TIFF file format
and colour images may be in PDF or JPEG file format.
Search An electronic , alphabetical listing of store d One-Touch,
Speed-Dial and Group numbers.
Speed-Dial A pre-programmed number for easy dialling. You must
press the Search/Speed Dial key and then #, and the two digit
code to start the dialling process.
Standard resolution 203 x 97 dpi. It is used for regular size text
and quickest transmission.
Station ID The stored information that appears on the top of faxed
pages. It includes t he sender’s name and fa x number.
Super Fine resolution 392 x 203 dpi. Best for very small print and
line art.
TAD (telephone answering device) You can connect an extern al
device or answering machine to the EXT. socket of the machine.
Telephone Answer Code (Fax/Tel mode only) When the
machine answers a voice call , it pseudo/double-rings. You c an
pick up at an extension phon e by pressing this code (# 5 1).
Temporary settings You can select certain options for each fax
transmission and copy with out changing the default setting s.
Tone A form of dialling on the telephone line used for Touch Tone
telephones.
Transmission The process of sending fax es over the phone lines
from your machine to the rec eiving fax machine.
Colour Enhancement Adjusts the colour in th e image for better
print quality by improving s harpness, white balance and color
density.
User Settings A printed report t hat shows the current s ettings of the
machine.
Xmit Report (Transmission Verification Report) A listing for
each transmission, that shows its date, time and number.
