QUICK-DIAL NUMBERS AND DIALLING OPTIONS 7 - 8

Pause

Press Redial/Pause to insert a 3.5-second pause between

numbers. If you are diall ing overseas, you ca n press Redial/Pause

as many times as needed to inc rease the length of the pause.

Fax Redial

If you’re sending a fax manual ly and the line is busy, press

Redial/Pause to try again. Any time you want to make a second call

to the last number dialled, pr ess Redial/Pause to save time.

If you’re sending a fax automatically and the line is busy, the machine

will automatically redial one time five minutes after the transmission.

Tone or Pulse

If you have a Pulse dialling service, but need to send Tone signa ls

(for example, for tel ephone banking), fol low the instruction s below. If

you have Touch Tone service, you will not need this feature to send

tone signals.

Lift the handset of t he external phone.

Press #. Any digits dialled after this will send tone signals.

When you hang up, the machine will return to the Pulse dialling

service.
