Recording a Conversation

You can record a telephone conversation by pressing Record during the conversation. Your recording can be as long as the Incoming Message Maximum Time. You and the other party will hear a beep every 15 seconds while recording. You cannot record a conversation using the Speaker Phone.

Fax Forwarding/Paging

When Paging is set to ON, your MFC dials the pager number you’ve programmed, and dials your Personal Identification Number (PIN) when connected, to activate your pager and let you know you have a fax or voice message in the Message Center memory.

When Fax Forwarding is set to ON, your MFC dials the fax number you’ve programmed, and forwards any faxes you’ve received.

You cannot use Paging and Fax Forwarding at the same time.

Programming a Fax Forwarding Number

1 Press Function , 1 , 8 , 6 .

2Press or until the screen displays

FAX FORWARD?

3Press Set . The screen prompts you to enter the number of the fax machine where faxes will be forwarded.

FWD#:

ENTER & SET

4Enter the forwarding number (up to 20 digits).

5Press Set .

6Press Stop to exit.

You can change a Fax Forwarding number remotely (See page 104).
