eStart sewing.

Partially removing threads is called “drawnwork”. This gives a beautiful result with fabrics that have a loose weave.

Two ways to create drawnwork are described below.

Drawnwork (Example 1)

aPull out several threads from the fabric.

bTurn on the sewing machine.

cSelect stitch 36 Manual background .

For details, refer to “Selecting stitching” (page 67).

dAttach monogramming foot “N”.

eWith the right side of the fabric facing up, sew along the right edge of the frayed section.

fPresspanel.Manual background (Settings key) in the operation

XThe settings screen appears.

gPress Manual background or Manual background (Stitch length keys) until Manual background is displayed.

XThe screen for mirror imaging the pattern appears.
