To set or change the handset PIN (personal identification number)

A PIN on your handset protects information, such as numbers stored on the memory from unauthorised access.

If you change your Executive Handset PIN, please keep a note of it in the box provided at the front of this book.

Press the MENU button

Use UP and DOWN to highlight

SETTINGS.

Press OK.

Display shows a list of menu options.

Use UP and DOWN to highlight

HANDSET SETTINGS.

Press OK.

Display shows CHANGE PIN.

Press OK.

Enter the current PIN number (default setting 0000). If you make

a mistake, use the DELETE symbol to delete numbers.

Press OK.

Enter the new PIN (this can be up to eight digits long).

Press OK.

Enter the new PIN again.

Press OK.

A confirmation beep is sounded and the message NEW PIN STORED! is displayed.

If you enter an incorrect PIN number whilst changing your PIN, the display branches back to Handset Settings and you have to work through the process again.
