1.3.3Connectivity

The 7F06-02 Module has one backplane connection and two sets of A/B front panel FPIM connections. The backplane connection provides power to the 7F06-02 Module and a channel for communication with the 7X00 SmartSwitch Control Module. The two front panel FPIMs provide FDDI connections, allowing the use of single mode or multimode ﬁber cable with MIC or SC type connectors.
