Copying Documents
Press [COPY] to set the machine to the Copy mode.
Prepare the document and place it on the platen glass or load it face down in the ADF.
Set the desired copy features.
Press [Start] to begin copying.
Canceling a Copy Job

You can make multiple copies.
Use the numeric keys to enter the number of copies you want press [Start].
Selecting the Paper Feed Location
Press [Paper Select] to select the paper feed location (paper drawer or stack bypass).

Specifying the Paper Type
Select <COMMON SETTINGS> <BYPASS PAPERTYPE>.
Choose the paper type from the following:
Changing the Copy (Zoom) Ratio
Enlarging/Reducing Using Preset Copy Ratios
Press [Enlarge/Reduce].
Press [4] or [e] to select the copy ratio.
Enlarging/Reducing Using Custom Copy Ratios
Press [Enlarge/Reduce] twice.
Use the numeric keys to enter the copy ratio.

Press [Exposure] to select the auto mode.

Press [Image Quality] to select the image quality.

Collating Copies
Load documents face down in the ADF.
Press [Collate].

Image Combination (2 on 1 Copy)
The imageRUNNER 1670F/1630 models have an ADF.
Press [2 on 1].
Load documents face down in the ADF.
Use the numeric keys to set the copy quantity.
Press [2 on 1].
Use the numeric keys to set the copy quantity.
Place the last page of a document on the platen glass.
Press [Start] twice.
Place the next page of the document on the platen glass press [Start].
Press [Set] to finish the 2 on 1 copy function.
Reserved Copying
Reserving the Next Copy Job
Press [Stop/Reset] twice while the machine is printing.
Place the document to be reserved face down on the platen glass or in the ADF.
Set the desired copy features.
Confirming the Copy Job You Reserved
Press [Stop/Reset] while the machine is printing.
Press [4] or [e] to confirm the reservation number, time, and number of documents.
Press [Stop/Reset] to return the machine to the Standby mode.

Loading Paper in the Paper Drawer
This section describes how to load paper in the paper drawer.
Grip the paper drawer handle, and pull it towards you until the paper drawer comes to a stop.
Open a package of paper,and remove a stack of paper.
Load the paper stack under the paper drawers length guide and width guides .
Gently insert the paper drawer as far as it will go.
Adjusting the Paper Drawer for a Different Paper Size
Pull out the paper drawer,and remove all loaded paper.
