To ensure the quality of your copies and the faxes you are sending, follow these

guidelines:

• Make sure any glue, ink, or correction fluid on the document is completely dry

before placing the document on the platen glass or loading it into the ADF.

• Remove all fasteners (such as staples or paper clips) before loading the

document into the ADF.

• To prevent document jams in the ADF, do not use any of the following:

Acceptable Originals 2-3

Wrinkled or

Creased Paper

Curled or Rolled

Paper

Torn Paper

Carbon Paper or

Carbon-backed Paper

Coated Paper Onion Skin or

Thin Paper

Press [Set] to finish the 2 on 1 copy function. Reserved Copying Reserving the Next Copy Job Press [Stop/Reset] twice while the machine is printing. Place the document to be reserved face down on the platen glass or in the ADF. Set the desired copy features. Confirming the Copy Job You Reserved Press [Stop/Reset] while the machine is printing. Press [4] or [e] to confirm the reservation number, time, and number of documents. Press [Stop/Reset] to return the machine to the Standby mode. Grip the paper drawer handle, and pull it towards you until the paper drawer comes to a stop. Open a package of paper,and remove a stack of paper. Load the paper stack under the paper drawers length guide and width guides . Gently insert the paper drawer as far as it will go.
