ADF (Automatic Document Feeder)

The imageRUNNER 1670F/1630 models have an ADF.

Make sure there is no document on the platen glass.

For multiple page documents, fan the edges that will feed

into the machine first; then tap the edges on a flat surface to

even the stack.

Adjust the slide guides to the width of the document.

Use the numeric keys to set the copy quantity. Place the last page of a document on the platen glass. Press [Start] twice. Place the next page of the document on the platen glass press [Start]. Press [Set] to finish the 2 on 1 copy function. Reserved Copying Reserving the Next Copy Job Press [Stop/Reset] twice while the machine is printing. Place the document to be reserved face down on the platen glass or in the ADF. Set the desired copy features. Confirming the Copy Job You Reserved Press [Stop/Reset] while the machine is printing. Press [4] or [e] to confirm the reservation number, time, and number of documents. Press [Stop/Reset] to return the machine to the Standby mode. Grip the paper drawer handle, and pull it towards you until the paper drawer comes to a stop. Open a package of paper,and remove a stack of paper. Load the paper stack under the paper drawers length guide and width guides . Gently insert the paper drawer as far as it will go.
