Receiving Faxes This section describes the procedure for receiving faxes.Receive Mode

Your machine provides several methods for receiving fax documents. You can receive documents automatically or manually. Follow the chart below to choose the fax receive mode that best suits your needs.

The default setting is <Auto>.

Auto mode

Receives a fax automatically.

The machine's operation changes depending on whether an external telephone is connected.

You can hear a beep. Following the procedure below, receive the fax.
