Chapter 8 ISIS/TWAIN Driver Settings

Hint

Gamma table data (*.pxg files) consists of 258 lines of text used to create the desired image data. Refer to “Gamma Table Files” in the ISIS/TWAIN driver Help for details.

Buttons

[OK] button

Click this button to accept changes and close the Basic Setup dialog box.

[Cancel] button

Click this button to reject changes and close the dialog box.

[Help] button

Click this button to display help for this dialog box.

Other Settings Dialog Box

This dialog box appears when you click the [Others] button in the Advanced Settings dialog box.

This dialog box allows you to make settings for the feed method, stamps, and prescan.

The items you can set differ depending on the application program you use. Make the settings as needed for the screen actually displayed.

Types of Other Settings Dialog Box

There are the following types of Other Settings dialog box.

Other Settings Dialog Box (ISIS Driver)

This dialog box is displayed for ISIS-compatible application programs (CapturePerfect, etc.).

Other Settings Dialog Box (TWAIN Driver)

This dialog box is displayed for TWAIN-compatible application programs (Job Registration Tool).

Hint

In the case of both ISIS and TWAIN, the [Stamp] check box only appears when an optional stamp unit is installed.

Settings of Other Settings Dialog Box

You can configure the following settings in the Other Settings dialog box.

Feeding Option

Select the feeding method for documents.

[Standard Feeding]

If scanning is started from an application program, the document loaded in the feeder or on the flatbed is scanned. Scanning ends when all pages of the document have been fed.

[Panel Feeding]

If scanning is started from an application program, the document loaded in the feeder or on the flatbed is scanned. After that, you can continue scanning documents by loading a new document in the feeder or on the flatbed and then pressing the Start key on the scanner. To finish scanning, press the Stop key on the scanner or stop scanning from the application program.
