[Handling Precautions]

•The Handheld Terminal is shipped with the laser beam width already adjusted. So, the laser beam width need not be adjusted. Adjustment is necessary only when the laser beam does not switch to the correct position when the beam width is switched.

*Adjustment results are stored in memory.

*Factory settings are resumed if the Handheld Terminal is reset or all installed batteries are removed causing memory backup not to be performed.

•If adjustment is not successful, an error message is displayed. If this happens, retry adjustment.
