•If your desktop computer is running Windows NT with a service pack, you will be informed during the set up that you may need to reinstall the service pack. Try connecting first. If you are not successful, reinstall the service pack.

Note

•Windows CE Services does not support data exchange or synchronization with a handheld PC running Windows CE 1.0.

•Windows CE Services and H/PC Explorer (for Windows CE 1.0 Handheld PCs) cannot be installed on the same computer.

To install Windows CE Services

1.Insert the Windows CE CD-ROM that comes with your Palm-size PC into your computer’s CD-ROM drive. This causes the Microsoft Windows CE Services Setup window shown below to appear.

2.Follow the instructions that appear on your computer screen to install Windows CE Services.
