Low Engine Oil Level Message

{CAUTION:

Do not keep driving if the oil pressure is low. If you do, your engine can become so hot that it catches ﬁre. You or others could be burned.

Check your oil as soon as possible and have your vehicle serviced.

Notice: Lack of proper engine oil maintenance may damage the engine. The repairs would not be covered by your warranty. Always follow the maintenance schedule in this manual for changing engine oil.

Your vehicle may be equipped with a LOW ENG OIL LEVEL message.

This message is displayed for 60 seconds at the start of each ignition cycle when the engine oil level is low. Four chimes will also sound.

When the ignition is turned off, this message will be displayed again for three seconds to remind you that your engine oil level is low. Be sure to have your vehicle serviced right away.
