zRekenkundige bewerkingen worden uitgevoerd door de toetsen in te drukken in dezelfde volgorde als de uitdrukking. Zie Voorbeeld 6.

zVoor negatieve waarden, drukt u op [ (−) ] alvorens de waarde in te geven. Zie Voorbeeld 7.

zIn gemengde rekenkundige bewerkingen hebben vermenigvuldigingen en delingen een hogere prioriteit dan optellingen en aftrekkingen. Zie Voorbeeld 8.

zResultaten die groter zijn dan 10 10 of kleiner zijn dan 10 -9worden weergegeven in de exponentiële vorm. Zie Voorbeeld 9.

„Weergaveformaten

zDruk op [ 2nd ] [ TAB ] om het menu weer te geven voor het selecteren van het formaat van het aantal decimale plaatsen. Om het aantal decimale plaatsen in te stellen op n ( F0123456789 ),

toets u de n-waarde rechtstreeks in of drukt u op de [ ] toets wanneer het gewenste getal onderlijnd is. (De standaardinstelling is de drijvende komma notatie F en de n-waarde is •). Zie Voorbeeld 10.

zZelfs wanneer het aantal decimale plaatsen ingesteld is, wordt de interne berekening voor een mantisse uitgevoerd tot op 24 cijfers en wordt de weergavewaarde opgeslagen in 10 cijfers. Om deze waarden af te ronden op het ingestelde aantal decimale plaatsen, drukt u op [ 2nd ] [ RND ]. Zie Voorbeeld 11~12.

zDe weergaveformaten voor getallen kunnen in het menu weergegeven worden door op [ 2nd ] [ SCI/ENG ] te drukken. De menu-opties in het menu zijn: FLO (drijvende komma notatie), SCI (wetenschappelijke notatie), en ENG (technische notatie).
